You fly in & take 4x4 deep into the wilderness with all the gear you need for a few weeks. You're deep in the bush for 14 days living in canvas tents & sleeping on cots. Evenings are filled with bonfires and swapping stories with your hunting buddies and the native guides that are showing you the region. You brought 1 really good book to enjoy during down time. You brought 1 watch. Which one?

A solar garmin

I agree. A supremely useful far from the modern world tool. Runs for days and if set properly, weeks. You can navigate to where you started the day on the watchface. That alone can get you out of a bad situation.
