I don’t believe it. I’m certain if somehow we get another democratically elected president they will drop all charges in the name of “healing” and let the fascists regroup to try again.
Healing won't happen unless you debride the festering wound.
I demand truth but reconciliation is strictly optional.
As the great political philosopher Peter Tosh put it: "Everybody's talkin' 'bout peace, none is crying out for justice."
I don't want no peace. I want equal rights and justice.
After Nixon- healing/pardon, after Reagan-healing/pardon, Bush 1- healing, Bush 2-healing, Trump 1- healing/oops we waited too long. Seems pretty on brand.
Their actions point twoards them being complicit even
Biden had every opportunity to undo the tax breaks that Trump started. Obama had the option to fight citizens united.
Democrats don't fight for the people, they don't fight against the people. They are placeholders until a republican shows up to fight the people for them.
Yep, you can't rely on the system to fix the system.
That isn't going to happen. They've violated too many people's rights.
This isn't a Nixon situation.
I hope you are right.
The Dems don’t even have to do it, just like how they didn’t the first time. The courts and prosecutors will. Trump will most likely find a way out thanks to SCOTUS’ immunity, but everyone else is fucked.
Yeah, well the rest of us won't forget and immunity won't save you from an angry mob.
Maybe it's time for some extrajudicial justice. We can't count on the courts to do the right thing any way.
