Home automation is the residential extension of building automation.

It is automation of the home, housework or household activity.

Home automation may include centralized control of lighting, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), appliances, security locks of gates and doors and other systems, to provide improved convenience, comfort, energy efficiency and security.

Best way to automate house lights with Siri (alien.top)

Hi all, got a question of what I'm intending to do.

In my apartment I have roughly 12 lights total across all rooms. And I want to be able to do something like "Hey Siri turn off all my lights" to turn them all off, or "Turn on all lights", etc.

So I'm assuming I have to use Home kit with iot light switches, but where do I even start?
