If the Privacy Policy is anything besides "Absolutely NO tracking" I'm cautious. If it requires an always on internet connection, it's not for me unless it's a router that supports custom firmware.

Even if they say no tracking, but collect data, I'm still always suspicious. Even of they don't track, a data breach can ruin my day.

I consider tracking as collecting user data, not a geo-location function.
