I liked the FIBA reviews where you could hear the refs mic'd up discussing the play and see what angles they were looking at. Reviews were still annoying interruptions but at least there you got to hear the decision making process.

How on earth would they be able to fix games if we could hear them talking about everything

If they're fixing games I can guarantee they aren't using the review process to do it... It's by far the time that their judgement is under the most scrutiny. It's infinitely easier to just shift the gray area around to favor a team instead of trying to make the wrong call after every fan gets to watch a slow mo replay 10 times in a row.
