Iv noticed everybody in school blamed Eric for being fat and having to do extra PE lessons. But nobody blamed any of the fat kids like Henrietta or Heidi.

Why did Eric get all the blame yet nobody else batted an eye towards the other fat kids?

it would have clouded the issue and been a different writing direction. Cartman isolated and forced to grow up to keep his friends is the core of the episode.
