It is automation of the home, housework or household activity.

Home automation may include centralized control of lighting, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), appliances, security locks of gates and doors and other systems, to provide improved convenience, comfort, energy efficiency and security.

I forgot the cat's bed has an IP Address. It runs Tasmota.

I'm going to turn into an old cat lady. What's the man equivalent?

Anyway. I'm serious! I'm going to automate it. It's only 11W and it only runs 25% of the time while on....but. I have discovered if I put a Zigbee push switch under it and let the cat use it, I can see the patches of "events" on the push button when the mat is in use.

I thought of a gimmick thing that allows her to turn it on and off, but... it's cat, not a crow.

The logic is simple. Button event/* = cat bed heater on for 10 minutes.

10 minutes expires and no events, cat bed heater off.
