This springtail was about 1mm long. Lens: Laowa 25mm f/2.8 Ultra Macro 2.5-5X. two of the photos are focus stacked.

Globular indeed. Not very springy and I don't see any tails though...

Globular springtails have a unique tail-like appendage under their belly called a furca, which they use to jump and escape from predators. This structure allows them to perform impressive jumps, often flipping through the air as they do so.
