Do you realize how entitled it is to expect a detailed explanation for why Mistborn, Twilight, and a stack of fart jokes aren’t the height of literature?
What’s next, I say the sky is blue and you tell me to prove it? Go outside. Look up. Behold.
Never have I have had to ask twice from an avid reader for a book recommendation. It's like asking for a tech geeks favorite linux distro.
I know and chat with actual literature professors and professional authors. Someone who knows what they are talking about is not reluctant to share knowledge with people. I always learn, even by accident being in the mere vicinity of those folks. You are not from that group.
For you I recommend Something Happened, by Joseph Heller
I suspect your life is going to go about as good as Bob's life. Nice easy book by a famous author. I've read dozens of books and this was one of them.
You’re very confusing. All I said was that Mistborn is badly written, which is objectively true. The statement was a shibboleth for people who love books.
