Not sure if this is the right place to ask this. I recently got laid off from my job and looking to possibly start a side thing. A lawyer friend has a client who is looking for help with a business plan and willing to pay. I've done a few before but more as case studies with a team during my MBA. Other than a couple other consulting gigs for other people I know, I haven't really had much experience. I know what it takes in a broad sense and know that I could put together something worth their while, but I am not sure on what to charge or roughly how long it would take. Google says anywhere from $1000 to $25000. Lol. Looking for some feedback that could help me narrow down the range. TIA

Edit: I am in Canada.
