hi i got my hands on a 10tb usb wd drive and want to format it from ntfs to some other linux friendly filesystem, but i got some questions. what would be the best filesystem for this type of stuff (mainly storing music, videos, pictures), and how would i go about it? also how should my fstab look like?

Why don't you get your elitist ass back to Reddit, this place supports a community which includes non experts and beginners.

You won't grow the community if you mock people trying to learn. This is the equivalent of gym Meatheads making fun of the fat guy trying to lose weight.
