Patriots: Why would Mac Jones do this to us?
Shit coaching? He has Bill Belichick and Bill O'Brien. He's awful, you should watch him play sometimes. NFL fandom has gone insane with this belief that QB play is completely predicated on the context around them, it's like it's impossible to analyze performance.
Dude you should watch them play. Yeah Mac’s been bad. But so has the entire offense. Every single position group. It’s ALL bad
It's all bad, which is why they are the 9th worst offense of the decade at this point in the season. ALL bad includes the quarterback being awful. If Mac were a competent QB let down by his environment it wouldn't look like this. That's my point. The context around him sucks, he also sucks, that's how you're this bad.
