Me, a millennial child reading about this:

+ Good writers
+ Good directors
- PG rating
+ Good cast..

Did you think a Masters of the Universe movie would be R?

Show came out in the 80s and played through the 90s, anybody who watched it is well into adulthood. I, personally, would have liked to see something akin to conan the barbarian

I honestly don’t know how Leto can act around a PG rating. They’re gonna have to cut so much of his acting out just as a mater of procedure.

Reminds me of all the people that complained Venom wasn't R rated.

Venom. The kids comic/cartoon character that they made crave chocolate instead of brains. The one that wasn't allowed to use the word "kill" or "die" because that's not suitable for kids.

Not necessarily - but a huge swath of the MotU fans are 40-50yo adults now. Just look at their lines of toys released over the last decade or so - most are expensive and aimed at adult collectors.

I more see it as a red flag for my interest because PG limits its writing heavily. One swear word, no injury detail, no graphic scenes. The 'stakes' will be low as hell, and so will the potential drama.

PG doesn’t limit writing at all and it is he-man…… it’s for the kiddos. They aren’t making this to bring in the 50 year olds..

All PG does is they have to remove blood, reduce the number of swear words and can’t show any tiddies.

I actually don’t mind the PG rating. Kevin Smiths attempt to make a more adult MOTU left a bad taste in my mouth
