Hi all, first time poster here. I am a 48 year old man with an obsession for Omega watches. I think it started when my grandpa had a Rolex decades ago, and in the spirit of rebellion, I decided to never wear a Rolex but thought AP, Patek, and VC were too stuffy. Glad to be here.

I recently bought a Deep Black 215.92.46.22.01.002 GMT from Jomashop and I'm embarrased to say I don't know how to set the GMT hand. I've looked at videos but they make me more confused. Why can't I set the GMT hand independently from the others hands? I didn't buy the watch for its GMT capabilities, so it doesn't matter that much to me, but it still seems over confusing. This is my first (and probably only) GMT watch.

Any advice is appreciated, and please respond like I am totally ignorant, which I am.

The gmt hour hand on your watch does not move independently.

Pulling the crown to position 3, all the way out will let you adjust the gmt hour and minute hands, set this for UTC. Push the crown in 1 click to position 2 to set the regular hour hand to local time.
