If on Android get "Material Files" file Explorer and then setup sftp server on your server. You can ssh in and see your files and delete, rename etc
And would I be able to send files from the Android phone to the server?
Yes, copy and paste. Download Material files and you're half way there.
I’d like to add on to this not to expose it directly but to instead ssh to a bastion host (openbsd) and then jump to your internal network via sftp or whatever
