I am not advocating for absolutely no cars, but it shouldn't be the default to own one. Neither should it be a necessity in order to participate in society. Car sharing is of course a good solution for the last kilometer.

I could not agree more, living in unincorporated & Ag area of automobiles heavy South Fl.!
