I hear this mentioned a lot but how exactly is it "backdoored"?

Like... does LineageOS help? Does GrapheneOS help?

Is it like IntelME/AMD-PSP?

(Oh btw LineageOS apparantly breaks the data connection of my carrier so... 🤷‍♂️ there's that...)
