Hi, mid-thirties, decided to get a "real" watch. Like the aesthetics and versatility of both these watches. Plan to get additional straps to dress up/down. Wanted your thoughts on which you would go with and why? Don't plan on reselling, simply want to start slowly collecting pieces that look good, function well and are dependable and lastly, won't be too upset if they get dinged up. Which would you recommend?

Seiko. It can take a beating and waterproof. I started with the SPB147 but ended up selling to and getting the SPB143 since it’s a strap monster (SPB147 also is arguably). It was either this or the Tudor BB58 and no regrets so far.
