Add ADDS, dns & dhcp role Reboot Promote to domain controller & reboot Move FSMO roles to the new DC Demote old DC (Don't rush these three steps. Take your time) Now you can just export the dhcp config and import it on the new server, then adjust your dhcp scopes in the server to only contain your new DC's IP as a dns server, & dhcp forwarders on your router to forward to the new DC's IP instead of the old one Shut down the old server once you're happy it's all working
Thanks very much for that, helps point me in the right direction.
Cheers
