Getting the trash can from the street the afternoon when it was picked up is the adult feeling for me. It's down a hill, not far (maybe 40 meters) but I busted my ass slipping on ice last and the year before, this year I waited for the warmest day of the week if I could. Used a metal pointed stake to walk it down there one night. Fool me twice, lol. But when both feet start sliding and your trying to drag the trashcan, turns out stabbing a 5 inch metal spike through the ice with one hand will help you not end up ashamed of yourself
