An official may assess a technical foul, without prior warning, at any time. A technical foul(s) may be assessed to any player on the court or anyone seated on the bench for conduct which, in the opinion of an official, is detrimental to the game. The technical foul must be charged to an individual. A technical foul cannot be assessed for physical contact when the ball is alive.

So as the ball was live when Draymond's shove happened (https://imgur.com/a/sbkQB1K), why did they assess the T for it retroactively? Flagrant or common foul if they did not think the contact was enough for flagrant imo.

Truly a Ben Taylor special.

Let this be known.....we do not care. Draymond is the one person in the league who i do not mind gettin fucked by the refs.

He also didn’t get fucked by the refs….there were 2 incidents right before this happened where he easily should’ve been given his 2nd tech but somehow got away with both of them. One of the times he drew a charge on Allen, got up, screamed in his face, bumped into him and kept screaming and somehow didn’t get his 2nd tech. Then 1 minute later he pushes Mitchell out of bounds
