It is automation of the home, housework or household activity.

Home automation may include centralized control of lighting, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), appliances, security locks of gates and doors and other systems, to provide improved convenience, comfort, energy efficiency and security.

This is my first post in the forum, so I'm not too sure if this is the correct place for it. I sent an email to Filtrete customer service, and hopefully, I will have a solution in the next few days. I have followed the directions on connecting the air purifier to the app and the only thing I get is an error saying it can't locate the device. I just connected the smart filter with no problem. I can even see that it says SAF (smart air filter) when I go to Bluetooth. I turned it on and off to see if it would show up there to verify if that's what it actually was. I have unplugged the air purifier for 30 seconds and even moved it closer to the router. I'm hoping someone on here has an answer since I'm all out of ideas.

A lot of these IOT devices are in 2.4ghz spectrum. Have you tried to connect it to a confirmed 2.4ghz network?

I haven't set this up in some time. This was originally set up in my barracks before I was discharged. I managed to get it working then. I connected my phone to both my 2.4 and 5ghz before trying to set it up through the app.
