Hey everyone, I work at a large accounting firm for 5 years. I’m CPA but considering starting my own firm.

I’m a single guy with 100k in savings and zero debts. I’ve had clients here and there but I’m not legally allowed to have clients as it will be a conflict of interest with my firm. That’s why I can’t start as a side hustle. Shall I go for it and at least try for a couple years?

What part of the US are you in? I own a financial advisory firm and want to start an accounting firm. You could be the accounting firm.
