it really depends where you are in canada apparently. not really much variance than US waiting times(depending on the locations/ insurance you are using) the cost for upfront in usa is significantly higher.

i currently have to get private recently and the earliest for the " free checkup was 1month+. subsidized by the state healthcare for some specialists was easily 4+months, and you are likely to be "forgotten" in the waiting room too.

dental you are likely Very limited depending on what kind of insurance you have.
