Kindle Bluetooth compatibility

Does anyone know if the remarkable tablet will connect to a Bluetooth page turner foot pedal?

My partner is a classical musician and I want to get him a tablet for Christmas that is minimalist in function, paperwhite, and allows handwritten annotations on imported pdfs. But he also needs to turn pages easily, frequently without his hands. Most other musicians I’ve seen use a Bluetooth connected foot pedal remote to turn the pages on their own tablets. Anyone have a definitive answer on whether that device would work with the remarkable tablet?
