Home automation is the residential extension of building automation.

It is automation of the home, housework or household activity.

Home automation may include centralized control of lighting, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), appliances, security locks of gates and doors and other systems, to provide improved convenience, comfort, energy efficiency and security.

Ok so I have 2 sets of 3-Way light switches in my home, one set for the hallway and one set for the dining room. I have installed (and it my be over kill) a 3-Way switch for eash end of both 3-ways. It all works and I can use each switch individually from within the Google Home app, however when I tell Google to turn off the dinning room light or hallway light they will turn off for a split second, but then turn right back on. What I think is happening is Google is toggling one of each of the switches causing the light to turn off and then turn right back on. Is there any way to fix this?

No need for a smart switch on both ends of a 3-way. Personally I used Caseta on one end, capped the other end, and put a Caseta Pico mounted over the box where the other switch used to be.
