  1. I have a flight out of Europe in a couple days and I have my eyes on some watches at Gassan. The duty free Gassan store after security always has some nice Tudors and Omegas for sale but I have never seriously considered buying them as I didn’t have the money. I do now. Are these watches really cheaper than in the regular stores? Roughly 20% off a watch worth a couple grand is a decent amount of money.

  2. Say I buy a Blackbay that retails for €4.530 20% off would mean a €906 discount. Would I get in trouble if I sell the watch the second I come back from my trip and profit €900? How crazy can I go with this? Reselling a 7k Seamaster this way would mean a free vacation.

Any experience with this? Would love to hear your thoughts.

Not all what's written here may apply to you but general tips and cautious tales are rather fine: https://quillandpad.com/2022/05/22/shopping-the-airports-for-a-luxury-watch-customs-duties-and-discounts-explained-reprise-3/
