Absolutely, people like to hate on books like "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" but it was this along with others like "The Law of Success" and "Think And Grow Rich" that got me interested in investing and increasing my financial ambitions.

I don't care if the contents don't meet modern day standards, all I know is that it gave me the right push at the right time to work towards more ambitious goals for my education and career.

Rich Dad, Poor Dad was mine. People talk it down these days, but at the time it offered a perspective that wasn't heard much. I had wanted to be an entrepreneur since I was a teenager, but Rich Dad, Poor man inspired me to actually do it.
