Hi all. This watch was owned by my girlfriend's grandfather (now deceased) and we're looking into getting it restored as a gift to her mother. She thinks it is from the 40s or thereabouts but I haven't had much luck finding any info online. Are there any vintage Rolex experts who might be able to provide any info about this model of watch? Thanks!

Unfortunately the case back is just engraved with the original owners name and old phone number, so not much help there.
