Hi all. This watch was owned by my girlfriend's grandfather (now deceased) and we're looking into getting it restored as a gift to her mother. She thinks it is from the 40s or thereabouts but I haven't had much luck finding any info online. Are there any vintage Rolex experts who might be able to provide any info about this model of watch? Thanks!
Looks like a real 1920's model to me. Often they used third-party cases then so there isn't always a proper reference number. It just kind of is what it is.
