He's been rather upfront about being gay.
Literally the opposite. He was outed by Gawker, which caused him to bankroll lawsuits against the organization.
Who, Theil? No he wasn't. He was so pissed off that Gawker outed him, he financed Hulk Hogan's sex tape lawsuit against them, which bankrupted them, and put them out of business.
A guy who is "open" about being gay doesn't go on a scorched earth crusade against those who revealed it.
but he doesnt like to be Open about his gayness to be out in the media or in general, hes still partway in, downlow. he made sure news about him doesnt stick very long. especially with his last sidepiece who got defenestrated in florida.
