Hi all,

I have just come across the above brand and think their watches looks really nice.

I dug a little into the brand and have found conflicting info about them. Some places say they are US, other say Swiss and others China.

Does anyone have a watch by Nivada Grenchen or any info on their quality or info in general?

This brand is really interesting but its history is quite complex. Originally, the brand was Swiss when it started in 1926. The brand has a rich history, becoming famous with its model "Nivada Grenchen Antarctic" because it was selected to be worn by participants in the U.S. Navy's Operation Deep Freeze in the 1950s. They are also known for the iconic Chronomaster.

Currently, the brand is owned by a Mexican group and has recently been brought back to life thanks to its partnership with the two Frenchmen, Guillaume Laidet and Rémi Chabrat (Montrichard group owner).
