hi! i have australian citizenship but currently live in the usa on a non-immigrant visa so i cannot legally work in the u.s., but would i be authorized to work remotely for australia or any other countries?

Unsure this is what you're looking for, but: 44 countries offer working holiday visa schemes for young Australians, including the USA. Presumably, working remotely is permitted (as well as for an employer in-country), although I don't know for sure.
