I'm thinking of a product that needs a table where you can add numbers and track their progress.

If I release this to the public will I get in trouble with Microsoft or is their original Excel patent expired by now?

I see all kinds of producs that have tables format. Monday.com comes to mind.

No clue about any of this. If anyone knows more I'd be immensely grateful.
