I've noticed that whenever I post an idea for a startup or even a concept for anew script I'm writing I'm often downvoted or discouraged from the idea. I'll have a small group of supporters while everybody else is either against me or I'm constantly ignored. It's lonely and I often lose motivation on my projects because of this... I know that I'm still a beginner at this but it really kills my spirit especially when people close to you don't think too highly of your ideas.... .

As a reminder - most people think brushing their teeth two times a day is dumb. Or wearing masks when you’re sick.

Long story short, if your idea was killer on this sub - enough to garnish a ton of upvotes. Someone is likely already stealing your idea.

PS the idea is way less important than the execution.
