I work in a large company that doesn't let me use Linux, but I haven't used Windows on my private computers since 1997.
My mother, who was born in 1945, switched to Ubuntu Linux this year because she was fed up with Windows. She'd been using Windows since 3.1, and MS-DOS before then. With a bit of support from me and an IT guy in her area, she's a happy camper.
I switched to Debian Forky this week from Ubuntu and it's the bee's knees. The cat's whiskers. The zebra's pyjamas.
