[Discussion] Will you switch from an expensive brand to a cheaper brand? (alien.top)

The other day I posted to ask about what watch should I get for my Dad. I just found out that he is wearing Movado, which is much more expensive than what I could get for him. Do yall think if I gift him a Bulova/Citizen/Seiko it would be fine? Would someone wearing an expensive watch like an average brand?

I dont know anything about watches so pls dont get too harsh on me. I’m just want to buy a gift for my Dad

Hey yall I saw people saying Movado he’s wearing is cheap which surprised me cuz as what I saw on the website, it’s lowest price is already 700. The watches of other brands I’m looking at is currently on BF sales which make them around 200 that’s why I was asking 😣

Btw, I really appreciate all of your answers. I, in fact, did send a pictures of those watches I was looking at to him and asked which one he likes. He said anything so ig he would be happy with anything I got for him

You seem like a really thoughtful person. I bet your dad will be feeling really loved just because you’re taking so much time and thinking of him. Get him a really solid Seiko, and he’ll wear it with pride.
