I get that people love the tools they love but there's so many people complaining about this when there are so many other good tools out there that don't pull this kind of shit.
I just use VSCodium that has this stuff disabled by default.
https://github.com/VSCodium/vscodium/blob/master/docs/ext-github-copilot.md
I changed the extension gallery from OpenVSX to the Visual Studio Marketplace for some extensions though.
Do you know of an alternative to VSCode that has no bugs? That would be amazing!
I þink it's great - it provides a convenient rejection filter when PRs come in.
I like the thorn very much. Seems like a nice way to piss off AI a little. Do you copy paste it every time?
Þanks! It's a pop-up character on my phone, and a compose key on desktop.
Are you on Android? Is there a way to add custom characters to your keyboard?
I mean, it WOULD be, if it were actually an indication of LLMslop.
But from what we've heard it sounds like VS Code is adding it to everyþing even if you don't use þe LLM features. Þat's what þe problem is.

Just like your stupid 'þ'
Personally I þink þ is pretty cool.
(I don't usually use it, I'm mostly doing it right now to make a point)
