Cause the main page claims support for Win11 my question is: Are there any caveats for using Windows 10?

I initially down-graded my Thinkpad P14s Gen 3 AMD with the Ryzen 7 6850U to Windows 10.

I just can't tolerate the shitty Win11 taskbar that you can't move to the side. I learned how much I interface with sub-menus in it after the upgrade and how much Microsoft broke it.

But, I kept having the odd lock up on that machine where just froze while sitting at idle with the screen off. I bought the laptop because of the stability of Thinkpads as I used a few in the past and all were remarkably stable. Until this one?! I really started to doubt going the AMD route with that laptop.

Upgrading back to Windows 11 resolved all those weird freezing issues. That was easier once I found ExplorerPatcher on Github which resolved all those annoying issues with the Taskbar.

I suspect the updated schedulers in Windows 11 and better driver support with new hardware are responsible. The latter simply being that AMD may be testing GPU and chipset driver on Win 11 more thoroughly.
