In case anyone is looking to pick up a 3090, there are several "renewed" ones on sale for around $1000 on Amazon:

and so on.

Renewed != new, but still preferable over used cards by some random seller on ebay.

In this case, renewed == used. It would be one thing if they were done by the manufacturer and certified but in this case they aren't. They are "renewed" by random 3rd parties. I rather go with ebay with their money back guarantee. The last time I checked you had 6 months to file a "not as described" claim.
