As the reports are only visible to admins and community moderators no feedback is provided to reportees.

Publicly calling out bad behaviour especially the calls for violence and violation of our policies helps to inform the user what they did wrong and it hopefully shows good faith behaviour by us the instance maintainers.

I chose this path as I felt it was the most effective method for resolving the issue in transparent fashion while covering my back as I've been both burned by manipulation and definitely from my own past mistakes.

That being said, if anyone has better solutions or ideas I'd be happy to learn and practice them as it'll help me make less mistakes and better choices.🤗
