Hornets future backcourt in the loss against NY: LaMelo Ball with 34/5/9 and Brandon Miller with 29/3/2 (alien.top)

We suck but awesome game by these two despite the loss. They are both 3-level scorers in this league and displayed it tonight with their shotmaking. It's unfortunate that Clifford isn't that good of a coach but I think these two + a top 5 pick next year can be the start of a promising young core.

LaMelo has also been on a tear lately, scoring 25+ points in his last seven games. It's good to see him score like this after a dubious start to the season.

Miller seems to be picking up where he left off before getting hurt earlier this season and should be the starting 2 guard for the Hornets for the rest of the season.

A backcourt of LaMelo and Miller is extremely intriguing due to their unique positional size (LaMelo at 6'7" and Miller at 6'9").

I know plus and minus doesn’t mean much without context. But PJ was minus 25 in a game we lost by 14
