I forget exactly what it was a few years ago, but there were signs that roku was going down the wrong path. Glad I never bought one now.
Shoving advertising everywhere. Anti features, playing your own copy of some media? They will pop up letting you know you could be watching it on their streaming service. Etc Etc etc
Ya that's right. And some dicey data collection stuff too if I recall correctly.
