This is clearly the rookie of the year. Love Wemby but he's only the favorite based on hype rn. Chet has been outperforming him

Forgive me for sounding like a noob but wasn’t he drafted last year and just got hurt? Why wouldn’t that count as his rookie season?

It’s just how the NBA rules are. He didn’t play a game last year so he’s still considered a rookie
