Tubular is NewPipe with sponsor block. PipePipe is Tubular with more features and faster updates, I belive it's a hard fork but incoperates NewPipe/Tubular updates.

NewPipe < Tubular < PipePipe

Shout out to SmartTV for all of the same on Android TV.

Thank you so much! Hadn't heard of it before. My issue with tubular and newpipe is they're not really easy to navigate on a smart TV.

SmaetTuhe sorry. https://github.com/yuliskov/smarttube

Its YT front end that works on big screen format and can easily navigate with a remote.

It has sponsor block and other things built in.

Can logon with YT account if you like.

The annincment on the GitHub is quite old.
