I'm having a small annoyance with charging my FrameWork 13 that I just received, and I'm curious if anyone else has had something similar happen.

I opted to not buy framework's charger and instead use my 65W 3-port Anker charger I already have. When I try to use it, there is a slight delay before the laptop charging led comes on, but then the light turns off and on again multiple times before finally settling and beginning to charge. The process takes about 10 seconds in total. This behavior also happens when I plug in a Steam Deck branded charger, but not when I use a Nintendo Switch charger. My suspicion is that there is something wrong with the onboard circuitry negotiating what charging level to request from the charger, but I could be wrong. I'll also mention in case it's relevant this is an AMD model running 3.03 BIOS and Fedora 39/Windows 11.

Anyone else experience something similar when they try to charge?

What model Anker 65W charger are you using?

I don't have any delay when using my Anker GaNPrime 65W 3-port or 100W 3-port chargers.

Anker chargers are supposed to be able to negotiate multiple charging standards including USB PD, and pre-USB PD standards like older Samsung devices use. The marketing name for this feature is "PowerIQ" and I wonder if older versions can take longer to negotiate 65W USB PD connections.
