The "AI boom" concept doesn't make sense to me. What do they think we need the "AI" for? I find that I don't need it for anything, and as I'm "being left behind" without using it, I still wonder what they think I should need it for.
In my experience the "AI" chatbots are useful for people who don't know how to do anything. But I've spent my life learning how to do everything I ever wanted to learn how to do, so I just don't need that.
They need it to make workers redundant so they can keep even more wealth for themselves. That's it.
