So far this season, the difference between Chet Holmgren and Wembanyama’s true shooting percentage is basically the same as the difference between Embiid and Dillon Brooks last year (alien.top)

Holmgren has a true shooting percentage of .677, compared to Wembanyama’s .517, scoring on a similar volume.

Chet is shooting 10% better from two, 15% better from three, and 12% better from the free throw line.

For comparison, during his MVP season, Embiid had a true shooting percentage of 65.5%, while Brooks was at 49.4% in an awful shooting year.

That is a 16% difference between Chet and Wemby vs. a 16.1% difference between Embiid and Brooks

Yes Chet and Wemby are both rookies this year but don't forget even though Chet didn't play last season, he's had an extra season unlearning high school and FIBA basketball.

Adjusting to the NBA apparently takes time according to pretty much any European player so let's see how we go by All Star weekend
