Why Him from 2016 It has James Franco and Bryan Cranston in the main roles.

It is a Meet the Parents type of movie, but in reverse, where the parents are meeting the boyfriend who is a Silicon Valley tech bro with a crazy lifestyle. The movie pretty much glorifies the types of tech-bros who are currently destroying the world in present day.

I borrowed a copy from my local library last year because we wanted to watch more comedies (and we are strictly anti-streaming in my household) and it was a very awkward movie to watch in 2025.

On a much darker note, the movie Enchanted from 2007 has also been permanently tarnished for me because the movie ends with an epilogue in a pop up book. Giselle has her company where girls can be princesses for a day and you see her surrounded by little girls in princess dresses before the page is flipped to a bookstore where a bunch of middle aged men are standing in line, waiting for a book signing by one of the villains. Notice the name of this bookstore.

The top producer on this film, Barry Josephson, was one of Epstein's close friends and has been photographed with him many times and is in the files where he talks about recruiting girls for him.

So yeah, while I love Enchanted, I don't think I can ever watch that movie ever again without feeling gross.
