Hi,

I keep losing meeting and daily notes, can't get organized with a paper notebook and would like to tag or categorize notes. Need to sync or be able to export to my desktop.

Is RM2 the one or is overkill for my needs? Having hard time to justify the almost 400eur price tag... What other device do you suggest?

Seems to fit your needs perfectly, depending on what you expect with sync or export to desktop. I got mine just as a replacement for handwritten notes. Most people disappointed with RM seem to be so because they expect the device to be way more than a digital notepad.

True but then again one wouldn't necessarily need a moleskine ๐Ÿ˜ I really like them too. But found a good alternative to them on a local store.

But anyway, yes paper trail seems to to work for me. And write everything in the keyboard js also something I don't like. So the option to write on paper and move it to digital sounds enticing.

I won't go to rm2 right now, will try rocketbook for now to see if it fits my workflow

I have used Rocketbooks in the past, and they were decent. I found that what I really wanted was my notes in digital format to begin with (handwritten or OCR). I do still have a couple of Rocketbooks kicking around, though!

Its a funny little book. Lets see how it enters my workflow, I would prefer a more direct way to import things in notes organizer such as Evernote or Onenote, instead of taking a photo but for 30โ‚ฌ I cant complain and it seems a nice way to enter in this world eheh
